  1. Ah, I think I've caught onto something, I'm with Landon on the new spiderman movies, its the knowledge of the source material that really makes the second one click with me. Its less about the action for me (although it could have deliver more there despite that) and more about his personal life.
Really despite Rogen lifting up a comedy movie, neighbours is still very much a typical American comedy, with 50% of it working and 50% of it not.
Glad to hear you liked the double, despite my review scaring you off, I actually did like that film.

Sounds like I need to backtrack with older Godzilla movies , only saw the 50s one.
New X-men movie was carried by its actors and characterization, it was fun to watch but I can't bring myself to give it more than a 3 out of 5, I didn't wow me.
Have not seen those last two movies on the list.

  2. Still gotta see X-Men. I didn't see The Amazing Spiderman 2 either, since I wasn't that big a fan of the first movie. I didn't despise it like Landon, but it didn't interest me enough to check out the next one. But you guys made it sound decently different from the first, so maybe I'll give it a look. Wasn't a fan of Godzilla. Still hard for me to explain why. Closest I ever came was this http://letterboxd.com/ghadius/film/godzilla-2014/

I also saw A Million Ways to Die in the West. Those of you guys who haven't seen it yet...I recommend you keep it that way.

Most likely won't watch maleficent as I don't like the idea of having my childhood idea of sleeping beauty raped =<
